4 veal shoulder steaks
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
5 garlic cloves
1 tbsp soy sauce or gluten free tamari
1 inch fresh ginger, finely chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary, stems removed
1 tbsp umami seasoning, optional
Pinch of kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
Marinate veal shoulder steaks in marinade ingredients for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
Grill on medium-high heat for about 3/4 minutes per side until nicely browned.
